About Library

A library is a basic need of every educational and research institute. As the college was initially affiliated to the Kamdhenu University, Gandhinagar; textbooks pertaining to Dairy Technology, Dairy Chemistry, Dairy Business Management, Dairy Microbiology and Dairy Engineering were give propriety as per syllabus prescribed for the various courses. Currently library is laden with the variety of books meet the requirements of undergraduate and post graduate, teaching staff of the college. Exuberant books related to competitive examinations of central and state government, ICAR and agricultural universities etc. are purchased. These books are helping the students for achieving success in various competitive examinations. This is evident from exponential increase in the number of students passing the M. tech examination. To acquaint with advanced knowledge and technology sufficient number of technical journals and for general knowledge and awareness and daily events in various fields; well-known general magazines and newspapers are made available in the library.

The Library is highly sophisticated with state-of-art facilities. It provides online resources as well as digital resources. Library is equipped with RFID system with adopted Open Source software KOHA for Integrated Library Management. Our Library has many computers with free internet connectivity for searching references from CD-ROM, Data Base, E-mails and web browsing. Moreover, the special free operative services viz, J-Gate, NDL, Krishikosh, and e-books are also available in the library. The complete web based computerization and automation of the library is available to access the information from any LAN connection.
